About the project
Founded in Philadelphia in 1949 by Coast Guard veteran Joe Kadison, Quaker Marine Supply Co. made its name outfitting the sea-loving crowd with marine hardware and clothing — becoming famous in the 1960s for its long-brimmed caps, including the Oysterman favored by Ernest Hemingway. As their creative partner, we've helped carry that vintage heritage into the modern era, redesigning printed brochures, refreshing the logo, and developing clothing labels and tags that give QMS a cleaner, more contemporary presence without losing its authentic maritime roots.
